About SCCA
Seattle Cancer Care Alliance unites the doctors from Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, UW Medicine, and Seattle Children's to form a world-class treatment center that provides advanced therapies and clinical studies for cancers and other blood disorders.
A major focus of SCCA is to speed up the transfer of new diagnostic and treatment techniques from the research setting to patient care. This highly integrated approach to cancer research and treatment supports the flow of scientific information among researchers, doctors, and patients thereby accelerating development of new life-saving therapies.
SCCA recognizes that early detection of cancer gives people the best chance of beating the disease. We launched the Make a Mammogram Promise campaign to encourage more women in the Northwest to get yearly mammograms. Mammograms can find cancer at it's earliest most treatable stage.
